Nelson Mandela’s “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the worlds” explains and gives a clear description of his struggles on the ladder to success. I strongly identify and relate well, to that principle although the struggles may differ.

My experiences and challenges I faced as a child and still face as a woman, shaped my desires, dreams and urge to effect a revolutionary change in this part of our world.

The specific goals, we seek to achieve as a team is to help eliminate the major obstacles to put smiles on the faces of children through educational and health support and also train women in entrepreneurial and money skills. Sprout Foundation Africa, is one of the ways to effect the change I want to see in our Continent.

I have been enlightened and exposed to a lot of development issues in Africa via schooling and experience. I have learned to address these issues and spread a hand of change from my corner of the world.

Sprout Foundation Africa is an opportunity and platform to effect the change in education in Africa and most importantly Women Empowerment. The journey of a thousand begins with a step. I am positive about the change Sprout Foundation Africa wants to bring to Africa, although it looks like a step in the beginning.

A friend once asked what pushes me to do what I do for others? I wrapped up my answer in this quote by Barack Obama; “The best way to not feel hopeless is to get up and do something.

Don’t wait for good things to happen to you. If you go out and make some good things happen, you will fill the world with hope, you will fill yourself with hope.” I decided to join Sprout Foundation Africa because I saw it as an avenue to unveil my passion of helping others.

Creating a world where the vulnerable and marginalized can have a voice, access to quality education and meet their own needs; such world can stand the test of time and that is what I see whenever I enter the premises of this organization.
